I love it when parents schedule maternity sessions and newborn sessions, because it gives me a chance to get to know the parents a little bit before I come into their house and do the newborn session. I especially got to know Yadvi’s parents because we did a maternity session and I covered the baby shower as well. It was such a beautiful baby shower with a traditional Indian ceremony at the beginning. I loved all the beautiful bright bold colors, and you could tell that this little family was surrounded by so much love and joy. I felt very lucky to be able to capture such  beautiful event. 

Yadvi’s newborn session was a dream, and her dad was an awesome helper! I’ve had a string of little ones that didn’t want to sleep lately, but I wrapped her up and once she got comfy she was out like a light. Besides her being a cute little peanut, don’t you love her name?!?! It uses all the letters in mom’s name. I thought that was such a cute idea, and I really love it.
