Monterey Family Photographer- Yucuis Family

Noel called me to setup a family session. They are moving into a beautiful new home and were looking to take a new family portrait and display it above the fireplace. She said she loved color and texture and immediately I knew the perfect place- Old Fisherman’s Wharf in Monterey. There is an amazing succulent garden and the Memory Garden about a block away plus the texture of the wharf wood and shop colors on the wharf is amazing. She was on board!
Can I just tell you I absolutely adored this family and I’ so sad they are moving away! Their daughter told me stories the whole time and would hold me hand when we walked from one location to another (which completely melted my heart!), and she took direction so well. Oh my goodness their son was a totally cutie. He loved playing with his toy cars and trying to splash in the water fountain. In fact he loved the fountain a little too much and it was hard to get him to stay away! But he was an amazing little 2 year old- full of energy and smiles, and when we were trying to take more posed photos he would get up and run and plop into my lap. Not the most ideal for photos but again totally melted my heart. Hopefully when they come back for a visit I’ll get to do another session and see how much their little ones have grown!
