I actually met Kase’s mom for the first time at the Monterey Birth Fair. It’s a great event form expecting moms to meet doulas, midwives, and other birth professionals. My favorite thing about the event is seeing all the different things I didn’t even know existed! Did you know hypnobirth was a thing? Or even the difference between a doula and a midwife? I didn’t before I went to one of these events! I love knowing all the different options out there and being able to ask questions in person. Anyway, I was so excited when she contacted me to do a maternity and newborn session for their little growing family. You can see their amazing field maternity session here.
This newborn session was amazing. We did a couple cool requests. Mom definitely wanted photos of her baby boy with dad in his CHP uniform, we even got the big fur baby in on some! She had a couple cute hats that were gifts, and she wanted a photo of her laying down from above. That was one of my favorites, especially with her gorgeous hair!
Such a beautiful new family! Love their newborn session. My favorite is of Dad in his Highway Patrol uniform with his K9 partner – so awesome!
Oh my, Kase is the cutest newborn photography shoot I’ve seen in a long time. I love the intimate photographs with Momma and the baby detail shots.
These newborn photos are amazing!! I do birth photography so I know a lot about birth and such. Im glad you enjoyed the expo!!
He is such a sweet little guy! I love the simple newborn photos against the white wall and light colours. That’s cool that you met at the Monterrey Birth Fair!
Oh my goodness, so much awesomeness in this newborn session I’m not sure where to begin! He brought not only his uniform but his partner pup, too?! Images are amazing and I learned about some interesting options for childbirth in the beginning!
