I think pregnancy is one of the most beautiful times in a  couples lives. That’s why I not only really encourage moms to do them (cause they look gorgeous), but I also always encourage spouses and partners to be part of the session. When Amanda turned up for her maternity session I couldn’t believe how beautiful she looked in her yellow maternity gown and flower crown! The maternity session was magical. We used a field in San Jose and the light was so warm and glowy.

For their newborn session Vivian’s parents decided to do a mini session. Vivian is seriously adorable. I mean I don’t know about you, but i think baby elbow dimples are seriously the cutest ever! Not to mention Vivian’s mom and dad are the cutest couple so I had no doubt she would be a beautiful baby. 

For baby Vivian we did a mini newborn session, you can find more information about that here. I still come to your home, but it’s a much simpler session. It’s shorter and the focus is just on your newborn. There is just one blanket (unless baby has an accident, lol), and I just do a couple poses- no props. I loved Vivian’s newborn session, she looked so beautiful with all the soft purples. Since I’m a little behind in blogging (ok a lot behind, but I don’t know a photographer who isn’t, lol!) I’ve already gotten to see Vivian back for her 3 month and soon we will be doing her sitter 6/7 month session. I can’t wait!
