Having a not typical name, at least for a girl, has been something that has been a blessing and an obstacle in my life. For the most part it has made me feel special, and I cannot tell you how many times people ask me if my name has a story. I think they expect this grand amazing story, but in all reality my mom had never heard my name before and she and her sister thought they made it up! So, with names being such an important thing I always talk to new parents on how they choose a name, especially if it’s something I haven’t heard before. This little angles name is Savona. The instant I heard it I thought it was beautiful- kinda familiar but definitely not common. Savona’s mom told me it’s actually a city in Italy that they both loved. What a sweet story!
