I always joke that it’s only nurses and newborn photographers that get pooped and peed every day at work and it’s totally normal! It doesn’t happen at every newborn session, but it definitely has happened a fair amount of times. It’s basically just playing the odds. You have a diaper off a baby for so long and something is going to happen! It’s really not a big deal though, it doesn’t gross me out, and I let parents know it can happen but not to worry cause I can wash everything. It’s funny when I see parents 6 months later and they joke about how their little one pooped or peed, and most of the time I don’t even remember it happened. That was not the case with Camden’s session!! It was literally the end, and I was had just picked him up from the last pose and I was holding him waiting for his momma to come get him, and there was an explosion all over my lap. I mean epic proportions and it didn’t stop. I could stop laughing. I thought it was absolutely hilarious- this one I will remember! Bahahaah!
