I can’t say it enough, I love when parents book a maternity session with a newborn session! I love it for a couple reasons. First, I think it is an amazing time in your life that you should cherish, and I think it’s incredibly special that one day your little one won’t be so little, and they will be able to look back on those maternity photos and see how much you loved them before they were even born. Secondly, I love meeting the parents before the newborn session. It’s nice to be able to talk and learn a little about them and their budding family. And lastly I get to see their style in person. Of course I ask style related questions before the newborn session, but their is nothing like meeting someone in person.
When Norma showed up in that beautiful rose dress I was so excited! She looked gorgeous, and the teal Maxi dress was so elegant. I knew I wanted to incorporate little touches during the newborn session that would tie the images together. So I brought along the perfect little rose and teal headband.
I couldn’t believe my eyes when I got my first glimpse of Lila. ALL THAT HAIR! She is such a beauty!
