I still remember the call I got from Diem’s daddy. My fiancé and I were out of town for our anniversary, and I wasn’t going to do any work, but there was that little nudge that I should answer the phone, and I’m so glad I did. They hadn’t gotten the outdoor maternity photos they wanted with another photographer, and really had their heart set on them. Diems momma was already 37 or 38 weeks pregnant I think and time was of the essence. Not to mention I had a 3 day window before I was going out of state. But everything lined up and we got gorgeous photos. Here is the maternity session.
Then came little Diem’s newborn session. She is such a beautiful sweet little bundle, and such a good sleeper. I love all the little touches mom and dad wanted to use during the session. The wooden bowl with the giraffe was actually a decoration at their wedding. We also used momma’s “push present”, a beautiful necklace in some too. Diem even gave us a super sweet smile while wearing it. It was just perfect!
I love this family so much, and I can’t wait to see them again.

I am always a bit sad when I hear about negative experiences with other photographers. It is great that this Morgan Hill family found you! They got some beautiful sun soaked maternity photos and now they have gorgeous newborn pictures too. I love that mom brought some unique pieces to be incorporated into the session.
I totally agree with you, it makes me sad too. I always want people to have an amazing experience and love their photos, no matter who their photographer is.
