Pebble Beach Newborn Photographer- Baby Thomas

I’m going to let you in on a little secret…99% of the time if you see a dog and a baby in one of my photos I have photoshopped them together. There are a couple reasons I do this. One, trying to get a good photo and control a baby and a dog at the same time is dang near impossible (trust me). Secondly, it can be a safety issue. Dogs can be adjusting to a new baby or can be adjusting to me, or they are just a big-ol-dog and like to bumble around and knock things over. So, it’s safer to not have the baby near that. And lastly somethings it’s overwhelming (especially in my small studio) for parents to have to manage taking care of their regular babies and their fur babies at the same time.

That’s why I always recommend photoshopping them together, and ps you would never know. Like the photo below was their Christmas card. That’s right, 3 dogs and 2 babies! Do you know how many photos it took to make this actually happen? 5! I had to put together 5 different photos. Cause Like I said it was safer for everyone and also much easier and less stressful. And who doesn’t like a little bit of magic!

Also if you’d like to check out big sister’s newborn session it’s here.
