This Salinas maternity photo session was a part of a project that I had been dreaming of doing for years! I wanted to film a video that showed my photographing from maternity to newborn. I love this Salinas location so much, but I don’t take many pregnant moms up this hill cause its about a mile way to get to the top ( did I mention most of that is uphill???), but it’s such an incredible spot and Alison was such a trooper. It was one of those days were the morning was sunny and beautiful, but by mid-day the fog was rolling in. I have no problem shooting when it’s over cast- in fact it can make some really beautiful light, but I was getting a little worried about how cold and windy it was getting. Again Alison and Nick were troopers! Even though it was windy I loved how it made her dress flow. It was such an incredible maternity session, and I was so happy Estrella Film captured it.
